Hi everyone, my name is Lewis. Within the last couple of years I have grown more and more eager to start my own clothing brand. I came across Biloomi fashion when researching on Google for possible manufacturers to create my samples their website and reviews looked very promising and I was attracted by their low MOQ being a startup this was a key element in choosing my manufacturer. I contacted them on the 7th of December 2022 as well as a handful of other manufacturers to explore what would be best for me. I went back and forth with them over the next couple of day and they were very helpful and responsive at first, I was Quoted for a sample and sent a invoice by Danny from Biloomi which I then paid.

This is where the issues began, I asked them to confirm they had received my payment multiple times over email and WhatsApp and didn’t get a response for 5 days, then then eventually told me that they had received it and when I challenged them about the wait they came back with excuses and told me that the first rough fit sample would be ready to view in a week. It was the when I was told that by email, I then received no update after the week timescale I was given so I contacted once again multiple times by email and received nothing until 10 days later. This email was not a explanation or apology it was just a blunt statement saying that it would be ready in another 3 days. I sent a follow up email asking for a explanation but received nothing in return once again, This was this first case of billoomi’s miscommunication, inability to give a accurate lead time and lack of professionalism.

At this point I was very frustrated after I had been give a week timescale that was not adhered to, I was put in contact with Jyoti, she is the designer that handles for pattern and design development at Biloomi. She told me it would be ready to view. Bare in mind that it had gone a week over the given timescale at this point going back and forth with her about the rough sample progress she told me it would be ready to view that day. After multiple excuses and being ignored I finally received the pictures of the first Sample 3 days later.

My design was quite complex and I understand that delays and setbacks happen but this was not the case here, this was a blatant lack of communication and professionalism from jyoti at Biloomi and I was given no updates or explanation and had to follow up with her multiple times on every occasion to get any sort of communication or answer.

After receiving the images From jyoti I was fairly happy with the first rough draft and I advised her on what I would like adjusting and changing. She noted these changes and told me she would send me images of fabric options the following day.

Over the next couple of weeks we went back and forth about material options and colours, jyoti told me that there was delays with getting swatches and material which I thought was strange but I decided to be patient and give her time. It wasn’t until a moth after I received the original rough fit samples that jyoti finally sent some pictures of material choices that I had advised her on.

Over the next two weeks i tried to discussed changes of the final fit and the material for the final sample, it got to the point that I was just being told excuse after excuse about delays on fabric and lead times for completion. At this point it had been 2 months since I paid the invoice for the sampling I was constantly promised updates from jyoti and was being blatantly ignored and mislead. Jyoti was telling me there were material and development delays with no explanation, ignoring me while she was posting WhatsApp story pictures of her taking a trip in the UK.

It got to the point where I was being ignored for days on end very frequently i was very frustrated with the lack of communication and progress I stated to jyoti that I had paid for a service and it needed to be fulfilled, I was quoted 3 to 4 weeks for a sample and at this point it had gone over double that with no clear end in sight.

After airing my concerns and stating that o would write a review if things don’t improve jyoti she bluntly said that it would be better that I took a refund, i then agreed as I had had enough of the stress and misleading of with jyoti and Biloomi. I was told My refund would be processed would be contacted about it by the billoomi team.

At this point (suprise, suprise) jyoti and Biloomi completely stopped any contact with me regarding the refund and to this date I have not received any sort of refund or communication from billoomi fashion and don’t expect to.

I an writing this review to expose Danny, jyoti and billoomi fashion for their unprofessional actions and business and to also warn anyone else who may be thinking of using this company for samples and manufacturing.

I would not recommend this company in any way.
