User Experience:
21-06-2018: We met this supplier (they claimed themselves as the manufacturer of essential oils) in Shanghai CPHI China 2018 and we took few essential oil samples back for our QC evaluation.
27-06-2018: We received quotation from them and relevant supporting documents for all samples received for our QC reference.
23-07-2018: Our QC has tested all their samples, out of 8 samples, QC approved 2 samples which were geranium oil and linalool. We proceed to place order for 25kgs geranium oil (at RMB680/kg deld Guangzhou) & 180kgs linalool.
24-07-2018: We checked the delivery lead time required with the sales person, been informed that they need 14 days to have goods delivered to our appointed warehouse in Guangzhou (10 days for production + 4 days for delivery to Guangzhou). Then we question him about the long delivery lead time, because normally essential oil manufacturer should have the stock ready then only can offer to customer for testing and supply the same lot of essential oil when customer approved the sample.
Then he changed his word, saying if we make full payment now, they can deliver the goods to our forwarder’s warehouse in Guangzhou within a week. He also ensure to us that their stock’s quality will be the same as per sample we have approved. After we got their business license for verification, we proceed to make full payment to them without any delay.
29-08-2018: We received both cargo from our forwarder and our QC tested both materials , found that the quality of Geranium oil was totally different from the sample they submitted. We feedback the reason of reject to the sales person and provided them GCMS report for comparison with their sample submitted earlier. and he also talked to his boss/M.D.-Mr Luo Lun, they giving excuses that because of we rushing them for the delivery resulted their production got some error in produce the essential oil. As you can remember earlier, the sales person has promised to us that their stock quality is the same as sample submitted, and now they give us different story. We requested them to give a solution to this matter. They said they will send us new sample for our QC evaluation again then make replacement, but they want us to pay another RMB920/kg for the new stock, meaning the unit price of this new stock is RMB1600/kg.
26-09-2018: We received sample from them, quality not same as 1st sample we approved, our QC rejected.
29-10-2018: We received 3rd sample from them, this sample quality was same as 1st sample we approved. We requested them to send the goods to our forwarder warehouse in Guangzhou for replacement but the M.D. -Mr Luo Lun refused to do so. He required us to return the rejected goods to Guangzhou first then only they will send the replacement.
The problem now is they broke the trust first! If we returned the goods to them and they not replenish the goods to us, then we are going to lose further!
The M.D-Mr Luo Lun did not compromise with our request at the end and we did not received the correct cargo from them.
We was unable to adapt this rejected goods (geranium oil) in our production and finally we have to dispose this material. It caused us lost about USD2700/=.
