User Experience:
In November 2021, we received a consignment of 800 Firefighters suits from the supplier. The value of the order was USD 51,200. The company is large with an independent factory occupying in a 3 storied building housing about 100 workers in Jiangxi province. I have visited the office in Nanchang city and their factory several times during the last 5 years. And we have been placing orders every year since 2016.
This time the supplier used substandard material. The stitching inside and outside is of poor quality and the fabric used for inner lining tears with a slight twisting the fabric with fingers. Last year due to the travel restrictions we couldn’t conduct physical QC.
User Recommendations:
Conduct physical QC on site, and don’t place large value order if you are not able to conduct a physical QC due to Covid related travel restrictions. Local QC companies in China may not be that effective.
