User Experience:
PO has been raised on 21-Jan-21. Initially packing charges has been increased from USD240 to USD300 (wooden box) due to material price increased. After payment was released under-delivery term FOB-Shanghai, Miele Metal’s sales person – Lucy just informed cannot pack under wooden box due to the Chinese New Year approach and packers are back home for holiday. Besides, Delivery term had changed to CIF Penang Port due to additional charges USD100 if Kemikon insists FOB-Shanghai. Upon packing method, due to urgency, we have no choice to change from wooden pack to waterproof paper with a wooden bracket to pack with additional edge protector and more layer of waterproof paper in order to protect the material from damage. Miele Metal charged Kemikon for another USD 300 due to a change delivery term to CIF Penang-Malaysia. While shipment arrangement, Miele Metal charged Kemikon for an additional USD420 again due to overtime charges (queuing at custom) and expediting charges (take priority line to by pass custom process). When we received the cargo, the condition is really bad and majority of material are rejected. We do receive the survey report from our logistic company who found broken package while un-stuff from container and we did sent the pictures and report to Miele Metals for compensation but there’s no response from Miele Metal.
