User Experience:
Emailed, then received a quote with nice details promptly offering quotes for reports about other electronics companies …

The next day when asked for more details if the reports break GDPR and EU law. They get aggressive and insult when any attempt is made to get information from them.
Then no response… until the 3rd day…. could not stand for it… so tried to call the phone listed in the email… but the phone is invalid (automatically cut off)…. tried multiple times from different times… the same problem… then had no choice… sent an email to request for contact phone and others… no response anymore…. very frustrated… wasted lots of time and efforts…

This behavior from this company is not honest/manner behavior. THEY SELL EU DATA TO EU COMPANIES. It is illegal because of GDPR. We have other clients in France and Italy and cooperated for two years Never like this method. I hope that spend some time reading the attached info. If you need more records. we would like to prepare.

  1. Founded in 1995, ERAI, Inc. is a global information services organization that monitors, investigates, and reports issues affecting the global electronics supply chain. As the industry’s leading source of risk assessment tools, ERAI provides exclusive services and in-depth information that enable its members to perform industry-specific risk mitigation on suspect counterfeit, high-risk, and non-conforming parts and identify problematic suppliers and customers. Our members include aerospace, defense, medical, nuclear and commercial OEMs, CMs, OCMs, distributors, government agencies, industry associations and other organizations serving the industry.

In August of 2020, ERAI received a membership request from BD Electronics Ltd. This membership request was denied due to the fact that BD Electronics had been identified as the supplier of suspect counterfeit electronic components and had been reported by ERAI for wire fraud (e.g. taking payment in advance for goods that were never delivered) while operating as MLC Europe. All complaints filed against BD Electronics and MLC Europe are unresolved. A copy of the data ERAI has on file was provided to BD Electronics for their review and response.

Reports generated by ERAI are investigated and substantiated. BD Electronics was provided with all of the documentation ERAI collected which includes purchase orders, invoices, email communications between BD Electronics and its customers, test reports, photographs, wire transfer copies, and emails from ERAI reaching out in an effort to resolve these disputes.

On February 19, 2021, ERAI received an email from “Thomas”, first name only,, demanding ERAI “remove all information pertaining to BD Electronics Ltd. within 3 business days” alleging ERAI was in violation of GDPR regulations by storing and publishing data pertaining to these counterfeit and wire fraud complaints within ERAI’s password-protected database. ERAI promptly responded to BD’s request by asking that “Thomas” provide verification of his identity which has not yet been provided. ERAI also sent a request form which has not been completed or returned. Instead, “Thomas” replied by stating, “I have no obligation to show any of my information or any other individuals’.”

This matter was forwarded to ERAI’s legal counsel for review after BD Electronics threatened to defame ERAI if the stored data was not removed. This matter is considered open and under review.

If you have questions regarding this matter or the complaints filed against BD Electronics, MLC Europe or ML Components, please contact Kristal Snider, Vice President of ERAI, Inc. at or via telephone at +1 (239)261-6268.

      Great information.
There are multiple listings on for each of entities you mention in your post. It would help a lot of people if you would be so kind as to post your comments on each of the listings to ensure fair warning is made.
