User Experience:
I listed an RFQ on Ali-baba and received a direct email from Simon Yang of Wilcon Promotions. At the time it did not seem odd as other Ali-baba suppliers have contacted me directly. I assumed it was to save some fees. I prepaid Wilcon $1,928 for imprinted USB drives and baseball caps for 2 different customers. I received an acknowledgment, a professional-looking invoice, and even a tracking number through DHL. However, it appears that he only created a mailing label but never took our packages to DHL for shipping. He lied several times about ship dates and has stopped answering emails. We paid Western Union on June 8. The tracking numbers were given to us on June 24. The real sad thing is not just that we are out this money, but 2 different customers will have events without their giveaways.

User Recommendations:
I don’t know if there is anything learned here. Asking for a pre-production sample does not guarantee a product being made nor do you have any guarantee that references given to you are legit. Unfortunately, there are plenty of slimy people in this world and Simon Yang is one of the crummy ones
