I bought sketchers shoes from a facebook website. It was made up to look like the official sketchers website. When I received the first email from them when they took my money I realised it may have been a scam so I contacted Sketchers knowing they were based in USA. They confirmed it was a fake website and took action to have it shut down. This email said the shoes would be made in their factory in China. I started questioning them and months later when nothing arrived they said they would send a part refund because it cost them a lot of money to send the shoes. Another month later they are still sending me emails to be patient and just wait for the money.

Big companies should regularly check websites to make sure they haven’t been copied by these crooks. I have kept all the emails from them.
