I made my purchase through a website that appeared British, called “generalbuildercardiff”. I received confirmation of my order by email, but when nothing further happened I followed up.
A month after the initial order they told me the order had been delivered, and offered a 46% refund. They provided a tracking reference which merely said a parcel had reached the UK and had no further tracking information, or any proof it was even what I ordered.
After several email attempts to get a replacement or refund they increased the refund offer to 46.5% then 47%, then became unresponsive.
I received no money back, or the item.

Only buy from know suppliers or through trusted 3rd parties like Amazon, who have some form of complaints procedure and recourse.
