User Experience:
I got an email from an Alihuseyn at ML Components offering obsolete products. I asked for a quote for IGBT’s that are currently on very long lead times. I was told they had 10 new and original pcs in stock.

I took my time getting back to him with an order because I wanted to check the company were legit – the sales rep Alihuseyn rang me twice that same day asking when will we place the order. I asked him over the phone what testing can they do on the IGBT’s – he started saying i was breaking up and he couldn’t hear me. Got a call half an hour later from an Irish sales rep saying he could answer my questions – but when I asked him the same question, he said “I’ll check with our technical team and get back to you” – I haven’t heard from him since.

For the next two days, 2 different sales reps are ringing me asking when I’ll place my order, stock is running low. They’re really pushy and desperate for an order.

Alihuseyn eventually answered my question on email and told me the IGBT’s were tested by an outsourced company to make sure they were legit. We bought 10 from them with pre payment. Got the parts in house and tested ourselves, they were complete fakes. I sent him an email with test results and explained I want to send them back because we won’t give them to customers. I called the company and Alihuseyn is “too busy to talk” . The receptionist sounded confused when I asked for him.

This company is a huge scam and have people from so many different countries ringing you, pushing for an order. It’s always a sign of a fake company when they won’t stop harassing you for an order. ML Components is supposed to be Germany based but of course the parts came in packaging covered in Chinese symbols.

User Recommendations:
Go with your gut, if you think the company is a scam do every check possible. Some are very good with making websites and fake reviews for themselves.

It’s normal for sales reps to chase for purchase orders but not 3 times in one day – that’s a scam!

  1. We are currently having an issue with ML Components. I had ordered parts from them, payment was contingent on the samples being tested at a third party tester of my choice. Parts tested fine, so money was wired. During that time, the parts were sold from under us even though we issued a PO. They found other parts for us, but was at a much higher cost than before. I cancelled and the money was never refunded.
They have acknowledged they owe us a refund but they keep pushing the date back, and that’s if you can get anyone to respond to you. We’ve been fighting for our money for over 6 months now.
The last promise date for our refund is May, we haven’t seen the money yet and no one will respond to us.
The above reviews/comments on this company are consistent with our experience and these reviews should not be removed.Do not do business with this company.
