Global connected me with the JinJiang Company. I was looking for stainless steel and tin cups/mugs.
I made agreement with JinJiang to purchase stainless steel (SS) and tin cups. I’ve been working with “Peter” “firstname.lastname@example.org and then with his supposed supervisor “Andy”.
I gave them the sizes, weights, quantities and shipping location. We came an agreed pricing for the cups. I signed the Performa invoice and wired them a deposit of $8,001.20, which is 50% of the total order of $16,002.40. I provided them the logos for the cups. They sent samples which were not the correct sizes or weights and the logos weren’t even printed centered on the cups. They sent another set of samples which still weren’t the correct size or weight. They said they couldn’t make the SS cups without buying special materials (6mm SS) and we would have to purchase a larger quantity.
We negotiated a lower price for the lesser quality/weight cup (5mm SS). Then they changed and said they couldn’t make the tin cups in the amount that was agreed on (5000 ea) and that we needed to increase the order. They’ve tried to increase the prices on both the SS and Tin cups. I told them I was not increasing the quantity, nor the price. Now they say they cannot fill the tin cup order because it is to low and will cost them too much. They only want to fill the SS cup order, but want me to increase the quantity and price.
Since they have broken the contract/performa agreement, I have asked for my full deposit back. I’ve been asking for my money back for more than a month now.
Now I’ve received a message they want to charge me $1,600 USD for 3 logo plate charges and “other expenses”. The original plate charges were to be $200.00 each.
If they’d filled the order as agreed, with the correct cups as they said they could, we wouldn’t have this problem and I would have my order. They have cost me a lot of time and effort for nothing and now they want to charge me $1,600, NO!
They need to refund the full amount of my deposit. This is their fault that they didn’t and couldn’t fill the order as agreed. They lied about what they could provide.
If this is the kind/s of companies Global does business with, I will look elsewhere to find a new company. This has been very frustrating and a bad experience and I plan on reporting this anywhere I can on the web. Everyone should know what a scam JinJiang company is and to stay away from them.
I hope that Global can help resolve this to clear their name and provide me with a better manufacturer to do business with. This is just some fraudulent scam company. This makes me leery of doing any kind of business with Global and any of the company’s on their website.
Don’t do business with this company!
