In the beginning of May 2018 we ordered some electronic components from the company Micro Semicom, Ltd. They shown their location in Japan. Unfortunately our buyer didn’t pay attention on beneficiary name in proforma invoice, it was different with official company name: SMT Components, Ltd., not Micro Semicom, Ltd. Bank was HSBC Hong Kong branch, not the Japaneese one. Also the website did not match the company name: http://www.microsolutions.tech.
One of the components received within few weeks (shipped from Hong Kong, not Japan) turned our fake and could not operate. We sent to supplier test report and claim with requirement to get money back for their fake parts. Supplier refused to do it, then we start our investigation and found the companies Micro Semicom, Ltd as well as SMT Components, Ltd are not Japaneese companies but located in mainland China. Website www.microsolutions.tech is just international hub and www.smtcomponents.net is Hong Kong based. Both registrants are hidden. One more site which they can use: www.microsem.tech is out of service. Negotiations with supplier through the Skype were not successful, we still cannot get our money back. Though I can see it was our buyer’s fault first, the supplier finally is dishonest or may be intentionally committed a fraud. Anyway we still have unrecovered losses.

Check all the documents which supplier send you and also make sure if the company name corresponds with the website name. Real location should match declared one, good supplier has no reason to be hidden. If you are not sure then don’t deal.
