Our company is an established US Importer for governmental agencies across the United States and we have never encountered a situation as unfortunate as I will explain in this letter today. Bay Promo was awarded a contract for 24,000 units of Round Blinking Lights with the North Carolina State of Health Services Logo imprinted in 1 color. When Bay Promo Purchasing proceeded to complete our sourcing results the lowest supplier was HK-LALIDE LIGHTING CO. LIMITED “SHENZHEN LALIDE LIGHTING CO. LIMITED” with a price of 0.185 for the 24,000 units with DDU (Door to Door Price) included to the customer’s delivery location in North Carolina, United States. HK-LALIDE was represented in this transaction by Liz Liu.

The Proforma invoice reflected a total cost of 4,400$ and we issued a purchase order. With the purchase order we agreed the product would be identical, pricing was final, and that delivery would be made by June 20th to the customer in the US. We issued the order on May 28th and sent a deposit of 30% for 1,332$ and commenced production with the supplier. After receiving videos and images of the product we approved mass production. On June 23rd we received pictures of boxes with the finished product and we issued the final payment balance of $ 3,108.00 USD. All payments were made from our BANK OF AMERICA ACCT to her HSBC BANK ACCOUNT via wire transfer.

After paying the balance she disappeared for a week not returning emails or calls. Until her associate, Alex, responded to one of my many emails stating “liz was on a business trip and returned the following Monday July 2”. Since then communication has been rare and hard with the supplier. We received a tracking number and thought our goods were on the way. The tracking reflected 1 box only, when we were supposed to receive 60 boxes of 400 pcs see details on packing slip. The tracking arrived today to the customer and a box containing 24 virtual reality glasses was received. Our customer was furious, this seemed like a mockery to them, a joke. We have emailed her tonight, tried calling her, and texting her, but no reply. The last time she answered was July 10th saying “she sent out the goods and she would confirm with the shipping company”.

I would personally like to ask you to please consider this case and help us. We are a new business and we cannot take a hit like this, although its small. This order was for the US Government and we can ruin our reputation here and never buy from us again for this scammer’s treacherous actions. I ask of you to please review all my information and consider helping a business owner trying to make it that had a bit of bad luck. Please and thank you for all your help.
