    2. My company was thinking about buying from i-components.com but they said they would not take PayPal or a credit card. Wire transfer only. It seemed suspicious so I’m glad that I checked here before sending any money.

      We tried contacting both their regular phone number and their fax number but it seems that both numbers were out of service.

  3. i had the same experience with this company and Roy@Component-HK.com.
    After i paid to them, I never get any information from them!
    The last information was:
    Thanks for your payment, I will check with our accounting and let you know once the payment received.
    And please note we will ship the items to you in 3 days after payment received, after we ship out the items, I will send you the tracking number for your reference.

  4. PLEASE do not buy from this “company”. Once you send the money, all communication stops and you never receive your items.

    Everything that has been discussed in this comment chain is 100% accurate, as the exact same thing happened to us. We received the exact same email communication, which is clearly just copy-and-paste to each of their victims. You cannot buy directly through the website, which is the first warning sign. The second is when they send you an email telling you the original banking information they gave you cannot accept your nation’s currency, and you have to pay through a different bank instead. Finally, they tell you that you will receive a shipping confirmation three days after you make the payment, and this is where the “writing on the wall” becomes obvious. After sending a couple of emails asking about your shipment over two weeks and receiving no response, you start digging into the “company” a bit more only to discover that everyone else that deals with them becomes victims of fraud.

    Again, PLEASE do not buy from this company. Component-HK.com does not actually exist, and you will receive nothing for your money.

  5. Found and viewed the website, appears legit and professional. Submitted RFQ and within a short period I got a professional quotation. Price was good ( market price) and a Pro-forma was sent. Banking information was supplied. Only clue is after initial bank information they re-sent saying first was for HK dollars, second was USD.

    Although the company name was different than the order, i have seen this legitimately many times, as a number of HK / CHN companies have various trading names.

    NO responses to email, phone and fax numbers do not work.

        I made a HK police report online and the case is under investigation.

        I hope more will write in to make a report. With more of us, hopefully the HK police will take this Roy Cheung off the street.

          I think any body who were become victim must hurry make the report , so that Hongkong police have strong consideration.to action and catch him.
