I placed a 40HQ order for luggage with the supplier and I dealt with the sales director named Danny. After the deposit has been paid, the supplier asked me to reduce the color variations of the order, which I obliged. After that, they changed the design of a particular model, stating reasons associated to intellectual property and I accepted it too. Also, the completion date was delayed so I could not afford the time to do a third party inspection. When the goods arrived at my warehouse, the quality was extremely bad. More than 5% of the goods were not sellable. More importantly, I paid USD 5 more for a set of expandable luggage, but the luggage came without the expandable compartment. I asked for compensation for the USD 5 more that I paid, totalling USD 600. The supplier said they could not pay me in cash and wanted to reimburse me in my next order. I asked them to re-make the luggage that were made wrongly, but they raised the price by about 9%. They also said they had to charge an extra USD 150 if I wanted to arrange QC checks.
