OUR CLIENT SIGNED A $61.8M NOTARIZED CONTRACT FOR THE SUPPLY OF 84,000MT OF CRUDE PALM OIL & 36,000MT OF RBD PALM OIL WITH THE ABOVE COMPANY “JAKIMS VEGETABLE OILS SDN BHD”. AFTER THE CONTRACT WAS SIGNED, JAKIMS VEGETABLE OILS SDN BHD DEMANDED FOR A REFUNDABLE NOTARIZATION FEE OF $499 EVEN AFTER OUR CLIENT (BUYER) NOTARIZED THE CONTRACT IN PAKISTAN.
$499 WAS LATER PAID BY MY ASSOCIATE TO JAKIMS VEGETABLE OILS (THE SELLER) , AFTER IDRIS ABDOLSALAM CONFIRMED RECEIVING THE FUNDS THROUGH WESTERN UNION & DAYS LATER JAKIMS VEGETABLE OILS DEMANDED FOR AN ADDITIONAL $501 TO ENABLE THEIR BANK (CIMB BANK) NOTARIZE THE CONTRACT. WE LATER GOT CONFIRMATION FROM CIMB BANK THAT THE BANK DOES NOT GO INTO SUCH CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS.
JAKIMS VEGETABLE OILS PLACED MORE EMPHASIS ON RECEIVING $501 THAN CLOSING A $61.8M DEAL.
OUR PAKISTANI CLIENT (BUYER) WAS READY TO OPEN AN LC FOR THE FIRST SHIPMENT THEREFORE TRAVEL TO MALAYSIA TO MEET WITH THE SELLER (JAKIMS VEGETABLE OILS SDN BHD), THROUGHOUT THERE STAY IN MALAYSIA, THE SO CALLED SELLER WAS NO WERE TO BE FOUND.
WE DEMANDED FOR THE REFUND OF $499 BUT JAKIMS VEGETABLE OILS ARE REFUSING TO PAY BACK. $499 IS A SMALL AMOUNT BUT A FRAUD IS A FRAUD.
