Stage of relationship with the supplier at the time of the incident:
My business partner and I paid Bitmain Tech $75kUSD on 9/5/17 for the purchase of 39 Antminer D3 units. When we paid in full we expected the order would ship before the equipment became obsolete. The original ROI of these Dash ASIC miners was 22days. With 39 of them delivered in Oct we could have made 2.4mil USD/Yr. However as of 11-17-17 we still have not received our equipment and now the ROI on this equipment has gone to 700days. Bitmain claims they bench test the units for 2-3months to ensure it works. However it’s well known Bitmain keeps the coins from testing. They took our money and built the equipment then instead of shipping to customers they use them to mine and send out used equipment to customers. Look on Twitter there are tons of unhappy customers. This scam was pulled on many customers from many countries. Since China allows you to sue for lost revenue our hope is to possibly get a refund or exchange for a working product of an equivalent value. Bitmain has ignored our emails and tweets and shows no sign of answering our concerns. We were denied a refund even though the equipment is still in their factory and is largely regarded as useless in the crypto mining community.
Avoid Bitmain Technologies at all costs. They have taken lots of people for a ride with their Antminer D3 Scam.
