Having visited this factory 9 years ago we felt that this companies products & procedures needed time to evolve to the quality that is required by a European market. Having been in contact annually since our visit quoting for various products & quantities we now felt from comms that this company was up to the job. Having agreed terms a number of samples were ordered & paid for… The company has now stopped responding to any of our communication for samples or return of funds, we have passed to our Shenzhen based Solicitors for debt recovery.

It seems the basis of cocofurniture.co.uk is a shell company whereby its actual Limited liability registered company has changed a number of times & continues to change. So they can take deposits from International companies then close their own current Limited Liability Company, start another Limited Company reneging on any agreements as the invoiced company paid is now closed. In the UK we call this a Pheonix company whereby the idea is to scam all creditors by keeping their money closing one day & reopening the next, this was big in the 80’s-90’s in the UK but diminshed as regulation changed. I guess China needs to keep up with International regulation. We have been buying from China for nearly 20 years & this is a first for us, so be careful… I will remove this blacklist should the company come good with its original agreement… Watch this space…
