To Whom it may concern,
Mudroom Backpacks was unable to resolve with FFG either production or timing issues to our needs or satisfaction. We therefor mutually agreed to part company and go our separate ways. FFG has now fully refunded our initial production deposit. Our business is now complete.
FFG Manufacturing run by Nicolas Libaude is an excellent factory. Their team is organized, efficient and completely honest in all their dealings. Theirs is a unique facility in that they offer high quality products in small to medium sized production runs.
They are excited about adding new technologies and are skilled in helping their customers develop new products and processes to produce the best possible product.
For the customer, they provide clear communication on project status and the time and cost implications of product changes, material and color choices and sample requirements.
To suggest anything else is simple untrue.
In the age of email communication all the exchanges between David Deioma, FFG staff and management and myself is well documented. To anyone who is currently, or is considering in the future becoming financially involved with Mudroom Backpacks, I would recommend contacting myself or FFG Manufacturing.
Dear David Deioma,
Thank you for your listing. I guess we are getting famous thanks to you
As I could prove to anyone asking, yes, our delivery was confirmed with 3 weeks delay.
As I also can prove to anyone asking, that I proposed to you FREE air shipment to your destination (SF), which would have covered for the late shipment. You refused this offer.
You then proposed me a 20% discount and air shipment, or cancel the order.
Based on your conversations on the emails and your tone, I chose your second option to minimize the risk for my company, order is cancel and deposit will be refunded full (even if I purchased 100% of materials).
Thanks for your time posting here,
Wish MUDROOM a lot of success with all the improvements FFG Limited made on your bags, they now look great.
As everyone in retail and consumer goods knows, the holiday season in the US is a significant portion of annual sales. For a manufacturer to miss so badly and on such significant timing is an enormous gaff with enormous financial and strategic costs. Also to string along a customer who has in good faith made a deposit on a significant order placed in March of the year, and still does not have product by September, it illustrates the incompetence of the manufacturer and the break down on several levels.
If anyone is looking for reliable manufacturers and project design managers/consultants who keep their clients best interests as a priority, please feel free to contact me.
