Stage of relationship with the supplier at the time of the incident:
My colleague contacted the company China Sunrise IT Corp International Limited in the website www.alibaba.com. He had left contact information and a woman named Ms. Julita contacted us by email and responded to our quote request. We were conducting e-mail talks and everything was looking good. Things went to order and we started researching them online. In the signature, not Chinese mantle is mentioned Skype, site, and address of the company. The site looked like a real manufacturer. The contact page has her photo, the same as their Skype. We did not find them on any Blacklist of suppliers.
When things came to order received from them Commercial Invoice and Bank account information. We paid $ 1515, which included $ 65 for DHL delivery in 6 business days.
Our bank has told us that the merchant will see the money in his bank account after 2 days. 3 days after I paid, we received a tracking number in the non-active DHL system. After asking for explanations, Julita replied that it took 48 hours for the order to enter the DHL system. We already had doubts that it was wrong, but we decided to wait. After two days there was nothing in the LHD system, and there was no response to my letter, my partner was upset and threatened by Skype. There were more letters from them that assured us that everything was fine and that our order was sent. One week later, I received a letter telling us that there was a problem with the customs and instead of DHL they used Chinа post. One week later, I received a letter telling us that there was a problem with the customs, and instead of DHLs they used Chinese mail, but again we would have to wait two days for the order to appear on the website.17track.net for tracking. Today is Monday, June 26, 2017 – Mrs. Julita assured me that I will see my order on Wednesday … My partner found a distant friend in China who had started ringing on the phones they had given – he received an evasive answer that a former employee of the company was doing something bad.
Personally, I think fraudsters worried that we have found a partner in the state that can help us complain to their bodies have sent something by mail – not with DHL to travel slowly. Something to delay any investigation and give them time to hide their traces.I’ll keep you informed, but I have no hope of getting what I paid for.
