User Experience:
I purchased 1020 fidget spinners from this company, and made the mistake of paying upfront. They made it seem very normal to conduct business like this, and acted like they were in a rush when I spoke to them. I then asked for an invoice, and details about the shipment (lead time, when to expect delivery, etc). No such information was given. I made the payment through alibaba.com, and brought my problem to them, asking if they could secure an invoice for me and some information about my goods. They immediately and strongly advised opening a dispute, which I did. Suddenly, the supplier started responding to me again, and gave me an invoice for the goods I had purchased almost a week earlier.

At this time the goods were in China. I was provided with a tracking number and an invoice, and at that time they said if I was unhappy they could refund my money. Of course, the goods appeared to be arriving on time, so I said no. The shipping information provided was incorrect (a lie), and the goods were scheduled to arrive a week after the date listed in the tracking information. The person I was dealing with lied to me again about this, saying they had never given me shipping details.

The goods were part of a developing fad/trend, and I made agreements with various clients to buy them, almost doubling my money. I received the money from the clients, all of which had to be refunded of course when the goods arrived so late they were almost worthless. I ended up selling them at a loss of about $200. Even had a refund attempt been successful, I would have lost almost twice that on the VAT charges. Obviously, had the supplier not lied to me about the date, i would have taken them up on their offer of a refund, but they knew that I would no, which is why they offered. I jumped into this trusting the supplier to an extent, and I offer this information as a cautionary tale.

Representatives from Shenzen Linli Gifts and Technology are not to be trusted. They refused to answer direct questions for days and days, and literally and lied directly to me in order to take my money, not caring about my losses or the damage to my reputation as a retailer. I am adding them to this blacklist in the hopes that other people will not follow in my footsteps and find a more reputable supplier. Thank you.

User Recommendations:
Secure details about your order first! This seems obvious, and I’m sure most people will not make my mistake, but it happens. Don’t trust your suppliers word, they may simply be lying to you. Get them to agree to provide an invoice and shipping details at a certain date, and then pay them, not the other way around. Don’t pay everything up front if possible. Don’t buy from Shenzen Linli Gifts and Technology.
