I run a sourcing business to supply food packaging materials to Sri Lanka.In 2014,I was introduced by one of a ex-colleagues to a aluminum foil supplier,it’s name is Zhuozhou Caihua Aluminum Co., Ltd.( they also woned anohter company named Zhuozhou Hanhua Aluminum Co., Ltd.) ,at the begining,I confirmed with the boss of Caihua if they are a manufacturer,the boss has not denied and even promised they can give most competitive prices and delivery time and give me some commission.Then I informed my partner company in Sri Lanka the information of the supplier-Caihua ,and my partner company in Sri Lanka asked the loacl enduser placed a trial order to Caihua immediately to check the quality,but the trail order took 3 weeks to finished instead of what Caihua promised 1 week,I think maybe we can ingnore the delivery time for the first deal,at least quality of this trial order is acceatable .Then the local enduser placed a formal order to Caihua,and Caihua promised they won’t miss the negotiated delivery time,but the fact is,Caihua disappointed us again,the delivery time has been delayed for a month,but the boss of Caihua said there is an accident in his factory so that there is a delay,then me and my partner tolerated Caihua again,but again and again in the further orders they always made the shipment delay,and sometimes even give us bad quality foil,and finally the boss of Caihua told us they are a trading company instead of a muanfacturer that’s why he can not control the lead time and quality.So me and my parter did not want to do business with Caihua because they are not honest and made a lot of trouble for us.I thought the nightmare will stop soon,however,when I tried to collect my commission from Caihua,they can not fullfil their promise and only gave me 1/3 of what I shoud get,what’s worse,then they just refused to pick up my phone after I chased the commison every week for a year.As there is no formal commission agreement between Caihua and me,so I can not sue them.

Sign a commission contract with a supplier if you don’t want to lose the commission.
Visit the supplier’s company and do a credit investigation first before placing the order.
If a supplier disappoint you one time,do not trust them any more,you can always find better suppliers.
