This company lured us in with favorable terms to sign for our consignment. As the negotiation stage progressed, certain red-flags began to appear. First it was requests for us to compromise on the initial terms, saying that they were out of stock ‘for Chinese New Year’ of products we had ordered, requesting additional funds etc. Thankfully we decided to leave the deal before payment was made because the company tried to cut-corners in the shipping process by telling us that we needed to procure customs documents for China, when the agreed terms were FOB. Additionally, the company lied about producing the item of clothing in question, and we found out that they are in fact a trading company. Shenzhen Tihami Garment Co., Ltd. is yet another Chinese company that takes advantage of international buyers, so stay clear of them.
