On January 6, 2017 I saw an advertisement on facebook from the site – https://www.facebook.com/sugarcottonshop/?fref=ts
about the Octopus ring -https://sugarandcotton.com/products/kraken-the-octopus-ring

The price is 18 USD and the ring is claimed to be stainless steel, adjustable and from the photos provided it looks robust. I purchased the ring. It arrived today, February 9, 2017.

The ring I received is not stainless steel, it is soft, not adjustable, nothing like the picture. I researched a bit and it seems this site is selling knock off items. They are deceiving people. Also, on their website it says they are based in the US! I quote: “We’re happily based in Bradenton, FL – the beach capital of the US of A.” https://sugarandcotton.com/pages/faqs

I got the ring from China. I know they mention they ship from their “artisans” across the globe but it seems to me this is just a Chinese website claiming to be from the US to trick more people. I like to buy from the US companies and I had only the best experiences with them, I avoid China as they are poor quality and fraudulent! I was tricked!
