Hakkalights – Manager Bill Chen – supplied to us maybe 10 shipments of LED bulbs and down-lights. Each shipment came with other defects, wrong light colors, wrong printing etc. Since I know Bill Chen personally and treated him as a friend, even hosted him in my home, I had no idea that one day he would cheat me so much. We collected all defective goods and after his visit in Germany he promised to take them back and refund trhe full value. So we shipped the goods back to Shenzhen, which is now about 18 months.
Despite all promises Bill Chen never paid back one single cent. The LED’s he makes are of very poor quality, though his intention is to make best quality. But starting from poorest quality hrivers and ending with horrible manufacturing quality (sharp Aluminum edges, thinnest inner wires, no electrical safety etc), we finally refused to sell any of These lamps in stock, because our internal measures resulted in highly dangerous goods (poorest electrical safety). Bill Chen accepted our complaints, but again he never kept his promises to pay back. So I cannot recommend to buy any of his products unless you are keen to go into jail because maybe someone got an electrical shock of the lights you bought from Hakkalights and sold to others.

Update June 20th:
Again I contacted Bill Chen and remined him to fulfil his promises to pay back. Bill refuses to pay back unless I delete this thread. However I cannot trust a single word he says, this thread will be open until I might get bacck my money. Finally it is him who cheated me and not me who first blamed him. Much more I supported him for a long time and always thought that he is honest and will improve. Too bad to learn how so-called friends finally treat you
I was shocked by what was published here…!!! We never own anyone 6000USD and refuse to pay back. One buyer Mr. Reinhard did return the goods to us and we have modified the lamps based on his requests, but we were told by his side that he don’t want the lamps anymore and he simply asked us to refund his full payment. All the lamps are with his company LOGO: METOLIGHT, how we can sell to anyone else???
We told him we will pay the shipping costs free of charge in and out but unfortunately he refused. I have visited his small office and suddenly understood he is changing his business from small watts LED lamps to some large watts light fixtures and so he just simply can’t sell these lamps anymore then he used me as his friend to get the lamps back. What shall i do??? I will try to ask my lawyer involved in this case and see if i can file Mr. Reinhard and Asmetec gmbh because he is publishing insulting messages of Hakkalights online.
