User Experience:
October of 2016 I ordered 5 jewelry display cases from Foshan Kai Shine Loong Display Rack Co. for $2,665.00. They arrived at my store in December with 3 of the 5 showcases badly damaged, with much of the glass broken. Upon inspection of the containers, I found that the only protection used to protect the showcases and glass was one quarter inch styrofoam sheet.
One quarter inch thick styrofoam sheet for shipping glass showcases does not meet any shippers minimum guidelines and does not provide even minimum protection for a shipment such as this.
We have been trying to figure out a way to repair the cases and during this process, it was additionally discovered that much of the glass had not been glued together, leaving glass sitting on glass with no cushion, thus making it susceptible to breaking with only minor vibrations.
Upon contacting the sales representative for Foshan Kai Shine Loong Display Rack Co. (KSL Display), Jackie Wong, along with company representative Candy Zhao, I was told they would accept no responsibility.

User Recommendations:
Admittedly, I’m not certain how I could have protected myself against this. The manufacturer blames the shipper and the shipper blames the manufacturer. The problem was that the manufacturer only used 1/4 inch foam sheet to package a glass showcase. Perhaps insurance?
