Jinhua Color Printing Products

I traveled to Shenzhen to visit the facilities of Jinhua Color Printing Products, since my initial idea was to continue to work with them, but unfortunately they are not in serious business. They quote but they didn’t deliver the right upscale promised product and they tried to ask more money for the Gloss UV.

User Experience:
I contact on August 2016 Jinhua Color Printing Products directly, exchanging emails and their proposal related to our magazine specs. By their request, we wire half of the payment to their Bank account, the amount of $1,635.00 to make the sample. They do not accept PayPal, or Credit Cards. They only accept wire transfer, as so, this was really a red flag.

Very specific specs. They provide an invitation for the Chinese Visa, as so I went to Shenzhen on Oct 3, returning on Oct 8.

During our meeting with Keven Li and Dave, they showed me a bad product. Blurry and badly produced, but worse than that, even when they quote Gloss UV for the cover, (upon my initial request quote) they said that they only can deliver Gloss laminate that does not have any quality at all. I request a second sample to see during that week, but they said that the files was not in high resolution in order to not provide during my short stay (only more two days) because it was Chinese National Holidays. I returned to Miami, to finally understand that if a company does not respect a proposal with the specs that initially they said that they could provide, nobody could be assured that they will deliver the right product.

I cancelled and requested the money back. I didn’t gave permission to publish the mass production, however they said that they bought the paper and blablabla. They are not a serious company, and this is not the way to make business with the American Market.

I lost the payment, $1,635.00, plus hotel, plus my ticket of more than $1,670.00 and everything that involves an international long trip as to travel to China.

They promised that I would receive the new sample in Miami. It Probably will arrive this week, however even if I print with this company, the print and shipping process would only deliver the magazine by middle or end of December. This edition should be distributed already in middle of November (the latest) to be alive on Nov/Dec/Jan.

The reality is: If they don’t honor their own quote, they would’ve not honor the quality of the entire production, printing and paper.

User Recommendations:
I learned that unfortunately you should never pay by wire banking transfer. If you do, you just can’t complain or have your money back if anything goes wrong.

If any Chinese company requests wire transfer from your bank account, this is the red flag. It is not guarantee that they will deliver the quality promised. At least this was my lesson. They didn’t, and I know now that it will take a long time for them to understand the quality and quote, should walk hand to hand. This is the only way to keep clients.
