I’ve met Jacky Lue representing Shenzhen Megix Technology Co., Ltd at Hong Kong Global Sources fair in April 2016. This factory had few solid products (cases for iPhone 6s) so later I’ve decided to make an order of 2000 cases for iPhone 6/6s.
We have made sales contract where I’ve specified all requirements for the cases. It’s not our first order of this product in China and I know quality requirements quite well. There was stated clearly no dots or bubbles should be in or on the cases. Supplier confirmed those requirements. Also I’ve confirmed pre-production samples – they were in pristine condition as was agreed. In 2 weeks time my inspector started inspection and discovered 80% cases in order have white dot on back part of cases. They were clearly visible even if holding case 80cm in the front of the head. Supplier agreed to remake all batch so I had to wait one more week. After that time my inspector went to their factory 2nd time and discovered cases with same defect. It looked like they were same cases and nothing was remade.
Firstly supplier promised to refund deposit but afterwords he stated their company did not receive anything. I’ve contacted my bank and asked to make an investigation about this SWIFT (TT) payment. Few days later my bank told me exact date and sum my supplier received. I’ve sent this answer and attached document to the supplier in China but he stopped to reply me. So in final I lost 1 month time plus deposit. I would not recommend dealing with Shenzhen Megix Technology even if they show you best samples on the market and promise anything. Very likely initial products will be different from samples and deposit won’t be returned even if you agreed all quality requirements 100%.
