I was inundated by responses to my queries for cell phones from China and quite overwhelmed by the sheer volume: I had over 200 responses and sifting through them.

Ken from Shenzhen Rainbow E-Technology Co., LTD. was persistent and sent emails every couple of days to ask if I was still interested in the products, which I initially wasn’t. After about a month of this and several conversations, I placed an order and paid through the bank. As soon as the funds were declared cleared, he went silent. That was when I knew something was wrong and I have been hassling him since for a refund.

Don’t allow yourself to be overwhelmed. Take it slowly. Do your due diligence. Search for reviews of the company and its individuals on several search engines. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is! I haven’t got my money back but I won’t stop hassling them.
