User Experience:
After signing a contract with Jean Luc Amazou the sole director and contact listed on the website in March 2016 we paid $1000 to him to pack a container of kosso wood. He then refused to proceed until he was paid another $800 to pack. He stated should we refuse to continue he would send the money back. When we told him to do so he disappeared and refused to answer any calls. Throughout the transaction he was rude and often made references to the fact that $1000 was nothing. He continues to be listed as a Gold supplier with alilibaba despite being a supplier that lacks integrity.
User Recommendations:
You have to ask for all documents before you deal with a supplier and always go through an embassy when dealing with dodgy countries
Our company specializes in metal trading. We contacted Export Consortium Sarl through Alibaba regarding metal prices and aluminum and copper. Although he is on Alibaba this company , Jean the the contact person are all scammers.
He gave us a contract and requested we sign it with terms we both agreed upon. He offerered us reasonable competitive prices but after we sent him a deposit of $2500 he kept asking for more money.
He said there were demurrage fees and continued to make excuses to get more money and that his company wont cover the charges. The supplier promised a refund as per the contract but stopped communication I have reported this supplier to their government to prevent other buyers from becoming a victim. The suppliers website is a fake website copied from another website with stolen pictures. Do not trust this supplier. It is difficult to say if this company is real , but it appears Jean Amouzou is operating on his own terms and taking money from innocent buyers and not sending any goods as promised.
