I had a very big order for a foreign military entity and was quoted by Bluefin Mr Carter Smith. I was able to secure the order with my customer, and Bluefin told us we had to prepay for the parts we wanted, totaling $700K USD.
Because of the amount, we paid partially, and Bluefin did deliver the first batch.
We gained trust with them, which must be their way of doing business, to trick the customer that they can be trusted. Eventually, we paid for the balance of the order, and Mr Smith did not deliver the balance of the product. We are still out over $200K which we paid, and have a very angry customer who we have lost relationship with.
Bottom line…. these guys are a joke and cannot be trusted. You will lose your $, you will lose your customer, you may even lose your job if your boss loses these things.
Never trust and to make smaller payments and not pay more if the vendor gives us excuses why they need us to pay more.
