My experience was fast. I purchased dresses through this site, once I made the purchase an email was sent showing my purchase. My red flags went up when I was contacted the next day that my order would be on hold unless and until I provide this company with a clear color photo of my Drivers License and Credit Card. I was shock, There was no information about this during my order, Order was never sent, I was giving the run around and they refuse to return my money. After researching the company that is so advertised on google, I was in shock as I noticed there have been much fraud and deceitful practice with Sammy Dress and I have seen through this some of the same emails that I have received. There is Credit Card fraud involved and Identity theft. Here is the full story……
I made a online purchase on Sept. 28 to a SammysDress Company. Total 145.78. I received the email (attached screen-shots) showing the order and payment was received. Later the next morning I received and email (attached Screen-shot) stating that they have put my order on hold. I must first send them a clear color photo of my Credit Card and ID. I responded, I have never heard of anything like this. Sammys Dress replied back to me saying, they are not a fraud. There is no information on their site that stated that I need to send in a photo of my ID and Credit Card. This came as a complete shock.
Now the next morning, Sept. 29. I went to SammysDress site and canceled my order, I received an email back here is a copy:

We are extremely sorry that we have not shipped your order out due to an expected demand for your item.
Please kindly consider the following points:
Your order will be ready soon and we would like to offer you 3 solutions:
Option 1) Wait a little more for the item
Option 2) Exchange it for another item
Option 3) Full refund
Could you please let us know your decision and close this PayPal dispute?
Usually there is always a way for us to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.
We look forward to hearing from you very soon.

This store was not planning on sending out my order at all.
I replied and ask for them to just refund my money.
Then I contacted PayPal and made them aware and filed a dispute.
Sammys Dress gave me the run around, They kept writing me saying that I should wait 3 to 5 days, because now the order was being processed and its lost in the store and they need to find it first.
Sammy Dress went on to email me asking me to cancel my dispute with PayPal and then they will see how they can help me. I refuse, I replied to Sammy Dress and said that I will cancel the dispute once my they have sent my refund.
Sammys Dress refuse to refund the items, refuse to send the items unless I send Photo of ID and Credit Card. I even sent in a photo of my credit card and ID and blacked out most of the card numbers and left the last 4, also my DOB, with Drivers Licenses, I blacked out my DL number. That was not good enough, they sent me an mail saying my order is still on hold until I send a clear photo of my DL and Credit card again. This is when I canceled the order, red flags. I was informed by PayPal that no one should be asking me for that, a photo of my DL and Credit Card. Sammy Dress was not happy with that, They refuse to send any items until I send them a Drivers License and Credit Card Color photo with nothing blacked out.
After researching today, I found that there are hundreds of costumers that have been scammed by SammysDress and they refuse to return anyone’s money.
I never received the product, they are not going to send it, They refuse to return the funds.
My last email I received from them this morning was this…(copy)

Full refund. Reason, the email I received asking for a photo of my drivers licenses and credit card is not legal and unheard of, but whats really odd you require that I send my cards clear and in color. Even after I hesitated and sent in my photos, I received the email again saying my order is on hold, for me to send photo copy of ID and credit card again, when I check my Sammy dress account, I see the case was closed. What am I to believe? You took my money but order is on hold??? First it not legal for anyone or store to ask for a photo copy of ID and credit card, also Paypal Representative also told me no one or business is suppose to ask any consumer for that. The other reason I want a full refund is that you do not make it known or clear that you want a copy if ID and credit cards before a person make a purchase. YOU WAIT UNTIL YOU TAKE THEIR MONEY FIRST, AND THEN LATER SURPRISE THEM WITH A EMAIL THAT STATES YOUR ORDER IS ON HOLD…THAT IS JUST WRONG! Had I have known this, I would have NEVER placed an order with this store. Please refund my money today. Thank you

They were insisting that I give them clear color photos of my ID and DL. Their excuses are as if a child wrote them (read below). They are extremely fraudulent and rude. I did some research and I found they have scammed hundreds if not thousands out of money. A TV News Network also did a story on this company a few months ago. They have committed identity theft for many. They are stealing credit cards and stealing money off of people cards. They really do not send any items out to anyone, the items they do send are not what the people think they are ordering, most people do not ever get the items or they will send 1 item out of several . Your shipment may take months or a year to come most times never. The clothing they sell are not what they advertise and if a person do get an item it is made like a doll dress, as an example an XL will only fit a small 5 year old girl. The fabric is like paper and its sewn together as if a child made it, they are stealing pictures from other clothing sites and trying to make items to look like the pictures, so many sites are contacting them for copyright infringement. The will not return anyone’s money. What I seen was staggering. And they have convinced many to cancel their PayPal complaint with lies and money was never returned.
User Recommendations:
Do not trust the google advertisements, the Facebook advertisement, Amazon or anything, do your research first before you buy. Also it has been a nightmare ordering anything from China, I order all the time and I notice that 80% of the time I am in a battle with their lies. After the last few times I have decided to cut down and order American, Canada or UK.
