User Experience:
We have been purchasing different products and services from different suppliers in China for several years through international trading websites such as www.alibaba.com and www.made-in-china.com and till date we have been very content and never faced any kind of serious issues.

However, on January 2015, we had concluded a transaction with one Chinese company, The Shijiazhuang Tengge Import & Export Trading Co. Ltd. through www.made-in-china.com from whom we had purchased 14MT of Natural Wooden Charcoal and 17MT of Mechanism Charcoal amounting to USD 16,487.00 and expecting the shipment to arrive in Bahrain by the first week of May 2015. Unfortunately, till this date we don’t have any information about our consignment.

As per the payment terms, we had to pay them 50% TT in advance and 50% against copy of documents. Initially, the point of contact, Ms. Maple was coordinating with us in a very professional manner with regular updates about our product. But once she had informed us that she has dispatched the shipping documents and we did the balance 50% payment, she has not been replying to any of our emails or phone calls.

The last email she had sent us was on 21st April 2015 wherein she had assured us that despite an unforeseen delay, we shall get the documents shortly. Please be informed that we have called their office line several times but they do not answer anymore. We have sent them official emails on their Company website but they do not reply.

We have neither received the shipping documents and we have no idea where is our material. We launched a complaint with the Trade Dispute Department in made-in-china.com but they refused to help us. They had informed us that all they could do was call the supplier and ask them to send the documents. They cannot help us get our money back.

How do over seas buyers trust such website or the people and companies of China? How do they expect us to verify if a company in china is fraud or real?A B2B website is a representative for all its registered companies. We as a foreign company trust these suppliers only because they are registered in a recognized website like made-in-china.com

User Recommendations:
We wish to inform all buyers that this fraud company was a gold member in made-in-china.com and this B2B website had not even bothered to verify the true existence of this company prior making them a gold member. We would like to warn all buyers to refrain using made-in-china.com and be more careful about dealing with such fraud companies

  1. We have the same bad experiences with this company. Fraud delivery was on July 2015. We order zinc alloy and receive stones. We have contacted lawyer office in China to solve it.
