User Experience:
On July, 12th 2013 I contacted QSolar webpage indicating that I had a client interested in coulored solar panels. I could only find a couple of providers that make coulored solar panels, the first one was in Germany and the price was too high. QSolar, sent me a quotation, the price was higher than non-colored solar panels, but it was ok.
I asked for certifications of quality, they send a TÜV certification, and I thought they where ok with the quality. My client was rushing me for the purchase, given that we’ll still have to wait for the shipping. So I decided to purchase from them.
When the product arrived, I new from the first sight that the panels, that they where of bad quality. A couple of days after the installation they started to get yellow form the sun. At this point I started contacting the sales people and other contacts that where involved in the purchase, but they simply stop replying.
One year and a half later, my client complaint on the coulor and the efficiency of the solar array, and I had to do the right thing, change the 5KW solar array with new solar panels.
Today I still send emails to the QSolar people, and they keep ignoring me.
User Recommendations:
First of all, I learned that if a client has a unique requisition, and if there is not a well tested solution out there in the market, just say NO!
Then, regarding the Chinese/Canadian providers, I learned that when problems arrived, you are alone, and there is no warranty promise that will support you.
I had to ask for a sample first, and check the quality for myself. I shouldn’t be rush from my clients need, I should investigate the TÜV certificate and check websites like this to check if they haven’t done it to some one else.
At last bot not least, never buy from QSolar.
