I ordered a Honda Vezel from a Japanese Auction via this company called SBT. They have delayed the shipment, hence the “Latest date of Shipment” has a mismatch. But they never informed me, rather they kept it from me to hide their failures. They told us that they have handed over my imports documents to their bank and waiting until the DHL tracking reference is given by the bank. Due to mismatch “Latest date of shipment” on LC and the “Shipment” of the BL document, the bank has rejected the documents. They have been trying to do some fixing in secret, but they told me that they have done their part and the bank is responsible for the delay. But they haven’t submitted it. After the LC date expiry, and even after my JPY rate fix forward expired we really pushed these guys, and they had to tell us the truth then. After that also, we fixed the LC expiry date and latest date of shipment from our bank, so that the Japanese bank would accept the imports documents. Then after even 3 days, SBT is not responding to our emails. They do not give any update. Their agents have taken lot of commissions from us, and therefore we have to stick to the LC without letting it expire and be cancelled. Because of this delay, due to rates changes, and taxes, I will have to pay about USD 8000 additionally now. But the SBT staff doesn’t respond us now and avoid us in a very irresponsible manner. I opened a support ticket in their system; and they keep closing the support ticket without giving me any kind of a resolution. They just keep closing it when I re-open it asking for an answer. But, now they have my email address; and other marketing/sales people keep spamming me all the advertisements and they do not stop that even if we requested them not to do that. I still didn’t get my imports documents, and these people keep playing with me. The Japanese bank staff doesn’t know English, so I have no any other communication channel besides this vendor called SBT Japan. I am helpless and given up; because they do not reply my emails or give any response.

Never ever pick a Pakistani guy as your account manager
Never ever import something from a country, with people who do not speak a common language
