Lianxiang Xiao

I got ripped off for a total of $ 4,700 Canadian.
I have an extensive email string on all of the conversations involved between myself and lianxiang xiao. In the process it would seem as tho other victims were involved. He has taken a couple other people that I know of. He offers other peoples information as “proof” or “evidence” of legitimate transactions to make one believe that his business is legitimate.

User Experience: From SEAN HEATHFIELD…

A month ago I came across a product on www.DHgate.com that I found to be a good deal. 2 televisions for a great price. Initially I thought it to be too good to be true but, Knowing that this website has factory direct sellers from China I thought nothing of it. There are all kinds of deals on this site and I have purchased from similar places before and no problem. But was somewhat sceptical about the price as the TV’s were $39,000 Canadian at best buy and only $921 usd each through this buyer on dh gate. Well I know how much items get marked up here in North America especially in Canada. So I communicated with the seller and asked him how this is possible. He responded with how it was a promotional deal and his company is backed by the Chinese government to help promote his business and in December the prices will go back up. So I figured it might actually be right when he explained to me that the price per unit at the regular price was $6350. USD So I asked about his company and a few more questions and he answered in a way that made me believe that it was actually real. I was sent photo’s of his shop and also some waybill numbers from previous customers (which I thought was weird business practice, but it is China and there are not a lot of rules of business ethics over there) , so I send $2520 cdn via Western Union and then another 2 transactions for export tax and VAT for $996 cdn and $1185 cdn. Once I finished paying I was told that he would get me a tracking number via DHL and that is the last I heard from him. I got ripped off for a total of $ 4700 Canadian.

User Recommendations:
Never buy from China!!!!!! always use credit cards with fraud protection, investigate EVERY seller for a minimum of 5 days and go with your gut rather than your eyes.
