Wished to order a sample on 1 ton of the Rice to check the quality. Sent the money via money gram, and when the delivery was to take place, suddenly the moq was 5 tons and they wanted to have the payment for the rest before delivery. We found Shenzhen Quanxing Science Technology Development through Alibaba last year and had an initial project request for orders of doll clothing last year. Everything went OK and we received the samples as promised and modifications. The 2nd project we were supposed to produce 6-7 sets of doll clothes and they required half of the deposit which cost about $8,000.00. After several months passed we haven’t heard from the company so we contacted them with no reply. Then we followed up with 3 subsequent contacts and still have not heard anything from them since.
This was a new supplier of a new product line we were seeking to import. We have had only good experiences through Global Sourcing website in the past. We did not do sufficient due diligence. Once money was sent we did not hear back from this supplier. No product shipped. Nothing.
I had received a mail from Mr Alvin Lin, regarding product prices. I thought he was genuine as i had posted a product quotation on alibaba.com recently, and I thought that he had seen it and replied me by mail. I asked him his Skype ID for further conversation and exchanged many messages with him regarding the procedure, the payment details and all related information regarding my order.
